Okay, I want a new camera, but I don't know what to get..

I first wanted a Nikon D60, then the D3000, and now the D5000. I like Nikons, but my daddy told me to expand my horizon... xP

So, I need your help.

Tell your friends, tells your friend's friends to come and help me. =]

Please recommend some cameras for me and please give me a reason why to get it.

I want a SLR camera... (something along the lines of a D5000.)

No. I can't afford $1000 cameras.. so the limit for cost is $750.
